Getting started
Setting up product feedback collection is a key activity for product teams. The more comprehensive your feedback, the better products you can build.
In this playbook, we'll show you how to use our platform to collect, analyze, and synthesize product feedback from various sources automatically.
Step 1: What you'll need
You'll need access to Lancey's Merlin agent.
Connect to your product analytics, customer support, and call transcripts platforms within our integration tab.
Step 2: Setting up filters
Once our platform is set up, it will automatically collect data from all integrated sources. We'll leverage the platform's ability to query, segment, and act on the data for the next two steps.
Best product feedback analysis starts with a specific objective in mind. So let's go ahead and define the type of feedback we want to analyze among our customer base.
For example, you might be interested in finding all users who have reported bugs related to X feature.
Prompt
Find me all users who have reported bugs related to the login feature.
Merlin will do the tedious work of going through your data set, finding the users that match this condition and giving you a preview.
Step 3: Sending messages
Now that we have a list of feedback matching our exact condition, all that's left to do is get Merlin to reach out and gather more detailed insights.
Since Merlin as context about your users, it can draft specific emails inviting them to provide more detailed feedback. If the draft looks good, Merlin will send it off using the integrated email setup.
